Jennifer Page Stickney

Jen Stickney is a children’s book author based in Vermont who writes charming, animal-filled stories inspired by life on Stickney Farms, her family’s wedding venue and B&B. Her tales follow the adventures of Wesley, a comically tiny Shih Tzu, and Nikka, a protective German Shepherd.

Challenge
Jen approached me looking for her very first author website. She wanted a simple online presence to start showcasing her work as a children’s author and illustrator. Her priority was a site that felt warm and personal, but could also grow with her as she begins publishing her books.

Solution
I designed a clean, one-page website featuring her bio, illustrations that guide users to short story excerpts when clicked, and a simple contact section with a built-in form. The layout keeps things light and user-friendly while giving her space to connect with readers and future collaborators.

Results
Jen now has a professional online home where people can easily find her, learn about her stories, and get a taste of her work. The site has already helped her begin building a small audience, but this is just the start. As Jen begins to publish books and share new illustrations, her website is ready to grow right alongside her.
